I suggested to the missus we might go and see the latest one this week after we watch the one that's been sitting on the shelf for the last year or so

That could have been confusing

Went to see the first Hobbit movie with my girlfriend and at the end when the credits started to roll up she said out loud "What the fuck!? They didn't even fight the dragon"

she wasn't aware the film had been split up
