there's quite a bite in the air this morning (1 Viewer)

i keep thinking of all those madsers who are gearing up to go swimming in the 40 ft in sandycove in this weather on christmas morning.

why???????????

the paths through the park were icey and the grass was frosty. my new jumper kept me warm on the bike. +1 for new jumpers.

i sometimes go swimming on christmas morning. theres an icy lake near home thats suitable with a pier that you can jump off. its physically quite painful when you plunge in and your skin starts going mental so i usually get out immediately rather than swimming around but you feel great for the day then. one should do it every morning.

i practically needed a chisel to get the door of my car open to move it for the gardener. and then when i was inside i felt like i was in an igloo. ice everywhere. note to self: boil kettle and pour contents over car before driving anywhere today ;)

The thermostat in my car has broken so the heater just blows cold air.
I'd turn it off only the windscreen fogs up

brrrr

Some people do it everyday. Not me, of course but some people I know. Also, I think it's lovely outside. Perfect day despite my lingering hangover from Saturday night.
