the paths through the park were icey and the grass was frosty. my new jumper kept me warm on the bike. +1 for new jumpers.

i sometimes go swimming on christmas morning. theres an icy lake near home thats suitable with a pier that you can jump off. its physically quite painful when you plunge in and your skin starts going mental so i usually get out immediately rather than swimming around but you feel great for the day then. one should do it every morning.

i practically needed a chisel to get the door of my car open to move it for the gardener. and then when i was inside i felt like i was in an igloo. ice everywhere. note to self: boil kettle and pour contents over car before driving anywhere today
