There was a time in this city when being a punk
meant there was no venue that would let you in for a drink
never mind put on a punk gig!! Like myself , if youre into
punk/metal and heavy sounds in general there's some weeks
where there's 4 or 5 gigs put on between toxic/emerald/ground zero
and others. We were lucky back then if you got that many in a
year (and i'm not exaggerating !).

because it's a thread about what's wrong with the voodoo and bouncers lying about who broke the window when they don't know and in fact know it wasn't the guy they accused is a problem

I reckon the Voodoo does lack atmosphere for smaller gigs, I'd say it is better-used for more well known bands on tour sort of thing, just because it is that big that if there's not a crowd then there won't be much atmosphere.

john tryed to help with this when i asked him .whatever about the voodoo owner and the bouncers...but this shouldnt reflect baldy on john.and any dealings ive had with him hes always been sound.
