Yes, but ... far from being a song that was perfectly acceptable back in the early sixties, it did spark a lot of controversy upon its release - radio stations refused to play it and shops refused to stock it. Gerry Goffin and Carole King wrote it about their babysitter Little Eva who was in an abusive relationship. It was intended to be a sort of a protest song, highlighting the issue of abusive relationships.

On the other hand, Can't Stop Believin' by Journey has aged superbly. SOmeone should start a campaign to get it re-released!!!!!
