THE PARISH PUNK ISSUE # 1 doing the rounds now, i enjoyed reading this for what its worth..... first one has stuff on growing veg, keeping chickens,gig listings from all over island ,beer bread ,ballina scene report,homebrew etc etc. tour s and local label news has a real nice format...good collective buzz of it.
anyway nicked from one this from one of the parish punks fb pages
Issue one of "The Parish Punk" is out! It's a freesheet (at the moment) inspired by The Country Grind featuring self-sufficiency articles, nice photos and shitloads of gig listings from all over the island. There is a beautiful banner illustration by Sean Fitzgerald. Copies on lovely eco-friendly paper will be available at Dublin Independents Day this Sunday, in the North in the Warzone Space, in the West from the Ballina Punx , Distro-y Distro and in the South from Clodagh, Conor Koresh and Cam Lyttle.
