Rubber Soul and Revolver are amazing, apart from the Ringo songs. Went with Rubber Soul cos most people will go for Revolver I'm guessing.

I don't think it was a proper album. As far as I remember it was a singles and b-sides compilation issued in the US originally.

The absence of Penny land and Strawberry Fields from Sgt Pepper weakens it significantly in my view, although I'm surprised it got no votes (maybe we're all too indie for the obvious choice).

Abbey Road is my personal fave although Revolver is probably a better album.

With the Beatles deserves a listing of its own.

Ah here what about the white album? Helter Skelter, Rocky Racoon, Sexy Sadie, Honey Pie....... shall i go on?

I think theyre great- it was a toss-off between abbey road and the white albulumn.

yeah i'd come down the side of the white album everytime.

uknova had a 4 disc white album outtakes download available recently. some good bits on it.

"What's your favourite Beatles album?... I think I'd have to say, The Best Of The Beatles".

I like Pepper

mostly because that was the first one I really got into, but also because it has great tunes

after that, for me it's:

Rubber Soul
White Album
Magical Mystery Tour
Abbey Road
Revolver

but they're all tops, really

well this poll should help you sort out what album to buy first then.

Anto, you have unbridled joy ahead of you. Actually the Beatles are hardly ever played on the radio these days. Abba seem to be the most popular has beens.
