i've never seen one of these but am fascinated by them. its not even the type of yoke i like to play, but the stepped pickups and the many many switches look cool. shecter i think make this shape these days but make them look v.metal.

1967 Hagstrom Viking deluxe

Just before I left Toronto in '05 - about a year before they started making new Hagstroms - Capsule Music had two late 60s Vikings, a red one and a sunburst one, going for $700CAN each. Both in really good condition. I had the money but I foolishly opted to buy something else. Ian omos Viking plays beautifully and i think he paid £25 for it. The prick.

IN saying that they're usually grand but now and again we've had to swap back to the late 20century ones..like some sort of New Romantic band or something
