I really enjoyed the gang on a suicide mission in WWII vibe of the final act. And the fact that the fight takes place on a beach, that was great.
Also - fuck all (or at least very little) Jedi and force nonsense.
And the final Vader scene was terrifying - that is what my 5 year old self remembers from Star Wars.

Things I liked:
Stormtrooper dolly, the design of CP30 K-2S0, the "Japanese" guys, Rey Jyn's slight lisp, kick ass Vader and clever use of old footage.

Not so good:
Uncanny Valley Peter Cushing

Overall , it was grand like
