This is supposed to be amazing.
Vast catalogue of music available to stream immediately.
Free version not currently available in Ireland though.

Anyone know anything about this?

Probably the business model for the future though. Online games are doing it, Satellite TV does it....

yep
use it a good bit over here

while it's not solid yet, it is a rather fine program which should reach its peak when decent 3g units start coming out

as for music, there's lots on it, but there's still loads of licenses that they haven't obtained yet, so there are a number of gaps here and there
surprise surprise, it took the major's nearly 2 years to finalise a deal to get it going for the uk

I'm using it in the UK at the moment and it's amazing! Particularly useful for using in school - quick and easy access to thousands of examples to show the GCSE kids. I might have some codes left if anyone wants to speak to me REALLY nicely :)

Plus, you can send playlists to people on it as well....

So you can make a mix of songs and send the link to your pals.

You can get onto the site via proxies. Go to http://www.daveproxy.co.uk/. Then scroll down and put in www.spotify.com into the search window.

Just sign up then and put BT11AA as your postcode and you can download and use the software. Using it now. It rules.

It is immense. Completely revolutionising the teaching happening in my music department.
