Happy friday you lot.

So it's two in the morning, you wish you were in bed having spent the night playing scrabble. Instead you went to this indie hell-hole and tried to drink your way through your intense dislike of everyone and everything there. Now you're staggering about, calling it dancing and trying to ignore the shame and self loathing inside you for even thinking you could enjoy a night out like this.

These are the songs that remind of me those times. You hate the DJ forever.

there is some startk truth to the lyrics however.

The bleedin Crap Your Pants, Say Yeah song that used to get played everywhere. Goddamn awful tune and always signals the time to vacate the premises.

I had a really shitty group of boring, claustraphobic friends when I was 18/19/20 that I eventually shook off but my misery was usually compounded by our godawful local DJ's playing Mr. Jones by Counting Crows, Dancing in the Moonlight by Top Loader, and It's Hot In Here by Nelly two or three times every evening.

They've finally stopped playing those tunes much anymore thank fuck. My most hated track for the last few years is probably Galway Girl by Mundy. It's been played enough. Play something else for fuck sake.

I always wonder why drunk people, or just people in general want to hear the same old same old the whole time. When I get drunk the last thing I want is nostalgia that just makes me morose. Give me something new for fuck sake. I'll listen to the worst of new music with no complaints. I just object to listening to the same shitty tracks year after year.

Too easy D0njo

Yeah, it's roundly hated alright... howsabout this brown nugget then

Surrounded by massive lads in GAA jerseys shouting in Roscommon accents. Possibly plotting to murder you.
