Breakfast of chamions was a real 'stay up all night reading it and it changes you life book' for me.

That and 'Player Piano', oh and 'Hocus Pocus', oh and slaughter house 5 are his best book...oh, and all his short stories are his best book too...

He didn't over use the phrase you big silly...he used it in a certain way for effect. It's not like he did it by mistake

anyhoooo....I love the man


oh and I did see that movie version - don't get it out or it will ruin the book for ever. It's a decent effort but jeez the result stinks.

It wasn't meant as a criticism, silly ( ).

The piece about the dream...where Billy Pilgrim sees the planes flying over Dresden, sucking all of the destruction, fire and death back up into the bombs, that are in turn sucked up onto the planes, flown backwards and landed safely etc (I won't ruin it - read it)...is unbelievable.
