Never saw that list of gigs in the top hat before.
I went to three of them.
4th of October 1988 - Metallica & Danzig
29th of May 1990 - Kreator & Death
14th of November 1990 - Sepultura

I have some small memories of the metallica gig. First proper gig, 13, very excited. Metallica in their godlike era.
The kreator & Sepultura gigs...little or no memories off them.

That's not a.... COMPREHENSIVE LIST by any means. From that list, I was at the two metallicas, slayer, faith no more, onslaught, anthrax, wasp, suicidal tendencies, but i also saw the radiators there and something tells me there were more metal gigs out there i've forgotten about for reasons....

ooohhh.... for some reason 1,200 jumps into me head, but i've seen someone claim 2,500 which seems high

I had no idea exodus played back then.

I saw tony hawk,amongst others,skate there.

I used to go to the roller disco there as well and my brother used to bring me to it as an arcade before that.

That's the one. Pantera were supposed to play as well but they pulled out.

I've been told they were up in Bruxelles that night.
Saw them at that & in SFX in late 90's & earli 00's. Not been bothered since.
I'd imagine if they play here, on European leg of this tour, it'll be for silly money...

it was a proper old-style ballroom sized place, decent balcony too if i remember correctly

Yea, I was a tons of gigs in the Top Hat. If I could find my Ticket Book I'd be able to rattle them off.
