This new album from the UK's Subhumans is the first full-length of new songs since they reformed 9 years ago, and a whole 2 decades since their last one [recorded just before they split up, in 86] so it's been a long time coming! These 13 songs combine the band's trademarks of dynamic punk tunes and socio-political lyrics as effectively as their previous albums, venturing from straight-up rousing punk to slices of Wire-like tension, Ruts-like rolling basslines, and a whole 9 minutes of 'Never Ending War Song'. Mixing anger with analysis with wit, songs tackle war, social breakdown, mind-numbing McJobs, sizeism and...mosquitoes!?

THE RESTARTS - system error lp 10€
The Restarts are a long running London punk band with several 7"s and an LP already to their credit. This LP sees them taking a hard hitting melodic approach with 12 catchy punk anthems. The Restarts sound is akin to traditional UK punk favorites like early Anti Pasti or a rougher version of the Ruts. The songs are hard hitting yet melodic and catchy with a lot of sing a long choruses. This LP is a welcome return to the roots with great punk tunes from the streets and the heart.


MONSTER - arms lp 10€
Mönster was formed two years ago people formerly active in Highscore, Born Dead Icons, Insuciety and "Costa's Cake House" who all stayed in Berlin at that time. What was originaly meant as some sort of project became a regular band which was quicky noticed by punks worldwide through their debut 12" "Death Before Disorder", out in 2005 on Sabotage Records. Fast hardcore with notable Scandinavian/Portland sound, good measure of rocking riffs and a classic straight forward hardcore feel which probably comes from the fact that most of the boys have been in hardcore/punk bands the last 10-15 years. The new Moenster record called "Arms" captures the equal urgency of debut record, but also absorbed more melodies and slower songs, which provides them this certain passionate, European flavor. Album comes in a special diecut LP cover and inner sleeve
