Gorgeous day here yesterday, I went for a walk in the arboretum. All the Americans picnic in the shade like weirdos.
It made me think of sunny days in Dublin where everyone tries to soak up every ray of sun, like there will never be another sunny day.
Met an old friend later and we had been in the same pub earlier in the day, but she had been inside and I had been on the patio.
She didn't want to drink outside as it was "too sunny".
That said, she has skin like fucking porcelain, so she's probably not too cracked.
