Alot of spam filters use statistical weightings to decide if something si spam.

Basically, the weird poetic stuff is poisoning the weightings for that particular address or address block in your spam filters ratings.

You see pseudo poetic generated crap, sometimes its funny. Your spam filter sees that it doesn't mention viagra, clicking here, making money, nigerian former ministers or anything else spammy, so it decides, hmmm maybe this address is ok, lets give it some karma.

The idea is, build up enough karma with your spam filter, then send the spam, and even though it does appear like spam, your spam filter reckons that address has enough karma so it shows it to you anyway.

sneaky buggers.

If you saw Shellac in Dublin in 1998 at the small gig (in The Funnel, I think...it was on the quays somewhere) then you won't hesitate about going to this gig. That was one of my favourite shows ever.

Their bigger show in Temple Bar wasn't as good, but it was still fucking ace.

I didn't see them at ATP, but I heard they're still rocking.

the venue (if it is indeed in the vicar "rooms") is this big massive place that holds over 1000 easily (i would say) sometimes its full of tables but probably wont be for shellac, its got loads of bouncers, etc and if you turn the wrong way outside your likely to get spiked by a junkdog.
