Setanta vs Sky Sports (1 Viewer)

Thinking of getting one or t'other into the house.

I'm a Pool fan and Setanta have loads of Liverpool games this season. Nine live Pool games between now and Jan '09. In saying that, I'd like to watch the other teams too, but I'd probably be in the pub for the big games anyway.

Sky works out around €30-32 per month.
I think Setanta is around €20 per month.

Anyone got either at home? What do you reckon?

Sky HD adds a wee bit to it too, I also notice though that Setanta show Arsenal a lot too.......then again I do like the excuse to her to say I'm of out to watch the match.

I have both,

If its like last season Satanta will have lot of games from now till crimbo but the second have of the season Sky will have more games (when it counts)

Is it just me or is the picture quality not the greatest with Santanta.

There was a fair few compression artefacts during the Sunderland - Liverpool match. It doesn't help that they go for close in shots relative to the like of what are using on the Spanish league, where you see more of the pitch.

Jimmy floyd hasselbaink is not bad as a pundit on sky sports, seems to speak his mind a bit.
