Adebisi Shank

Adebisi Shank were formed in August 2006. Mick (drums) and Lar (guitar) had been playing with dublin based rock outfit Terrordactyl and met Vin who was working on The Vinny Club at the time. They played some local shows and in early 2007 they self recorded and released their debut EP (with the help of a small DIY label called Armed Ambitions). This EP was toured extensively in Ireland through the year and in late 2007 the band ventured into the UK and mainland Europe, with label mates, Marvins Revolt to great response.

The band regrouped in 2008 to begin writing their debut album. This album was recorded in June by legendary Independent producer/musician, J. Robbins (Jawbox, Channels, Faraquet, Clutch). The album, entitled, “This is the album of a band called Adebisi Shank” will be released in Ireland on 11th September followed by a Europe wide release in mid October supported by a tour of the UK and France.

Adebisi have just returned from a tour of Japan to support their EP release on Japanese label, Parabolica and plan to return early next year in support of their debut album. The album will be released on new Irish independent label, The Richter Collective and is available now from http://www.richtercollective.com.

"Very interesting, Adebisi Shank....very post-modern EP....Very Good" - Tom Dunne (Today FM)

"the imagination on show here, even at this early stage, is frightening." - Rough Trade Records (UK)

"Musically manages to skirt every cliché in the book and head out into the clear waters of genius." - InDublin magazine (4 Stars)

Adebisi Shank are one of the most exciting live bands in Ireland right now” - Rock Sound [UK]

Realistic Train

Are a ROCK band formed from members of Mongolia and Terrordactyl while both of these bands are on hiatus, with the aim of writing some psychedelic/ stoner/ garage rock anthems to get you through the dark Irish summer. The original concept was formed more or less over a weekend at the Roadburn Fest in Holland this year, during the consumption of many good beers, blemmers, space cookies and mushrooms. We utterly commit to bring you the psyche, the rock, the doom, all in a stylish and sexy package... just say when and we'll be there!
