Of course tourists are annoying! Everyone is annoying when they're a tourist. It's the great Tourism Ambivalence. Most countries need them, but fucking hell, they're a right pain in the hole because while you're going about your daily business, they're here to be on a break from any sort of rushing or routine.

And then you get talking to them and more often than not, you realise that they're enthusiastic and they wanna have fun, and they're friendly and stuff and then you feel really bad you're always moaning about clueless tourists blocking the footpath on Nassau Street. Until the next time you're on Nassau Street.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

But Lydia Foy? It's a pity that she's had to fight this for ten years. I fricking hope she gets a new birth cert.
