removing embedded images from a word doc (1 Viewer)

you mean copying the image or just deleting it?

i get sent these word docs that have photos emedded in them. i use framemaker to create the company newsletter (one of the most ignominious tasks known to man).

is there an easy way to cut theses pics (full size camera pics) and save them to the desktop or whateva? when i try this it saves them as word "scraps"

Copy them then paste them directly into photoshop or paintshop maybe?

copy and paste is the only way to do it right. Photoshop will even pick up on the size of the image from the clipboard so you don't have to crop it. Print Screen isn't as reliable because the image may be resized within word. I fucking hate people who send images wrapped in .docs. Pricks!
