god I'm fucked

while everyone went to the christmas party last night I went drinking whisky with rumpus till the wee hours

then I made use of the "you can come in at 11, we're so crazy in this company" clause and came in at 11 and guess what? nobody noticed that I hadn't been at the party

I'm not sure how to feel about this

Rednecks cork gig

the Rednecks have been accepted to play the SXSW festival in the US (texas) and it was originally supposed to take place between the 23rd-27th of March.

This has now been moved to the 12-16th of March so cork date (scheduled for the 13th march) will be moved, probably to the week before but as soon as I get exact new date from venue I'll let everyone know.

Cool.... I heard the Jimmy Cake didn't get accepted, but I heard wrong. Pity Tycho Brahe aren't there. Glad to see Daemo there....

Em.... those bands are going to SXSW on their own steam. Things You're Missing hasn't really done very much for them, so there's no reason why they should mention Things You're Missing to anyone there. It'd be great if they did.... they'd be doing Things a big favour if they did.... but it's not like they're obliged to. Maybe Things You're Missing should sort something out for next year....

Anyway, best of luck to them.... and again, it's a pity Tycho Brahe aren't going too.
