im heading to london in a while anyone know of any good record shops, also vegan food places would be handy , around camden is preferable

THERES AN PRETTY OK THAI VEGAN BUFFET IN CAMDEN,( THINK THERES A FEW DIFFERENT TYPES OF THESE) DUNNO THE ADRESS, ITS DECENT ENUFF IF U DONT MIND A BIT OF GREASE, CHEAPER TO TAKE AWAY. AND A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF FOOD IN THE MARKET

just take a wander around camden and you'll find all the record shops.

There's fuck all record stores now in Camden, most have closed down. You'll come across a few stalls selling records in the market itself. There's one second hand record store "record exchange/reckless" on the high st itself, can be pretty good. You can't miss it.

Out on the floor on Inverness St, Camden is pretty good for collectors & second hand stuff. Plenty of old punk, garage, psych, soul etc. Well worth a look.

Sounds that Swing 46 Inverness Street, Camden. Sounds That Swing specialise in an extensive selection of music from the 50's and 60's. They also sell a range of new and second hand records. This shop is in a little white garage like workshop & you'll pass by it if you don't keep your eyes open but well worth checking out.

There's also the usual Virgin etc on the high st.......

Hope that helps.

you should check out berwick street, near soho, loads of good stores there and as you head closer to soho there is a record and tape exchange, also its worth taking the trip out to notting hill area/or somewhere near there where there is rough trade and also another record and tape exchange (fucking love those places).

household name records is worth a go too (if its still open)

also if you are there on the weekend you should really head out to the 56a infoshop where you can get loadsa cheap records off active. good stuff.

All ages on Pratt street is awesome and really easy to get to from camden town tube station, the only thing that miht throw you direction wise is that they're doing work on the station, so one of the entrances is closed off, or at least was a short while ago. And Ha Ha Veggie bar is beee-utiful for vegitarian food, and is pretty close
