I played it,pretty killer on first play, jammed out heavy rock played live. I can't comapre it to the lp as i only heard it once, but the new one definately gave a stronger first impression.

Earthless - Sonic Prayer Jam 10"
Om / Six Organs Of Admittance - split 7"
Yellow Swans & Grey Daturas - Copper / Silver 2lp
Mouthus - Sister Vibration lp

Where'd you get that from Jakko?

Ordered the whole bunch sans Earthless from Fusetron. Do the Six Organs sound like Om? I think this might be a misprint cause their side sounds very much like Om would

The Silver-record of that Swans&Daturas is some amazing doomy noise. Had to do some shopping around to find one in stock

I've no idea,I never heard Six Organs, that's the only Om record I've not got. I wouldn't be surprised if they sounded similat though.
Never heard of that Swans & Daturas lot either,I don't really keep up with a lot of the current heavy stuff.

the sides are mislabelled. i stuck on what i thought was the six organs side first and within seconds was thinking it sounded weirdly like om (as in exactly like em). then the vocals kicked in. the actual six organs side sounds nothing like most six organs i've heard though. deadly 7"

they're two separate bands. yellow swans are touring over here at the end of may. they've put out some of my favourite stuff of the past few years. should be deadly

I don't know whats the thing with this 2lp, might be that Copper = Yellow as in Yellow Swans and Silver = Grey as in Grey Daturas. Or them both playing at the same time on both records (hence the & between the names on the sleeve) but I doubt that.

Daturas are more guitars and doomy noise and I really like them. Too bad I was a bit underwhelmed by their new more widely available CD cause this one and the CDR I have are amazing.

Don't think Gary would be into them either though
