Picked up Sir Douglas Quintet album and a Bottle Rocket album in a pretty nice shop in Edmonton.

They had a good few Mike Nesmith albums as well (a bit pricey thugh) I might pop back this evening for a closer gander.

Still waiting to arrive from amazon:
Battle of Mice - A Day of Nights.
Kitchens of Distinction - Love is Hell
Keith Hudson - Pick a a Dub

Arab Strap - Ten Years Of Tears
Various - CD86

Is there anything on the Arab Strap compilation that a completist mightn't necessarily have? e.g. alternate takes, live tracks.

The CD86 compilation looks interesting. Seems to be reasonably well thought out track list. Read an interview with Nicky Wire discussing it, in The Guardian or Observer, I think.

CD86 goes well with Rough Trade's indie pop comp.

Arab Strap.
Plenty stuff makes it worth a purchase even though I have all the LPs and singles. Hangs together well.

- Islands (1995 demo)
- Gilded (Live version 1996)
- I Saw You (previously unreleased)
- Packs Of Three (2006 acoustic version)
- To All A Good Night (2000 Christmas single - hard to get)
- Blood (Live version 2004)
- If There's No Hope For Us (Rogue version)
- Where We've Left Our Love (Japanese only song on The Last Romance)
- The Girl I Loved Before I Fucked (previously unreleased)
- Oxytocin (previously unreleased)

Two hidden tracks [part of track 18]
- It's a Heartache
- Bon Voyage [1995 previously unreleased]
