We went to that Baby Rave thing on Paddy's weekend and I was kinda underwhelmed. Was ok, but not really how I imagined it would be (music was v quiet, no-one was really dancing)

like this in the 70s...can't remember the specifics right

Imagined it'd be more like the real thing, y'know? Being able to hear the music over the children, people actually dancing. Was more like a giant playgroup with some funny lights than a music/dancing thing

In fairness to the Baby Rave though, it's pretty rare that reality corresponds to my adventures inside my own head
