Where is this? What's your set up? How do you do these big panoramic shots for which you are so infamous?

they were taken in northern spain (there's more in the directory above - http://stroma.org/kevin/northernspain/), the one linked being a lake at about 1,200m elevation.
i take multiple photos and stitch them together using autostitch (which is a free download) - you have to be sure to overlap each photo by about a quarter onto the previous one, to give it enough clues to do the stitching.

the biggest one in the directory above is about 20MP and was stitched out of about a dozen shots. just short of 360 degrees.
