Remember back in the old days it was mostly music? And now Edel's show is mostly talking, and so's the afternoon show ... why is that? Is it something to do with the licence, or is it something ye just wanted to do?

Just curious, no criticism, though often when I'm busy in work (which is usually) I have to turn off when there's talking cos I can't concentrate on what I'm doing

Thats why theres a programme in Irish at 9am on a sunday morning when no one is awake.

I don't know the exact rules of the license (I'm sure they can be found somewhere) but when you apply for the license you have to tell them how you're going to fulfil each set of criteria.
