Artists info :

The Irresistible Force – Aka Mixmaster Morris dubbed by many as ‘An Underground Legend’ joined up with The Shamen in 1989 creating the Synergy club. Morris toured alongside The Orb, Spiritulized and others before signing to Rising High Records to release music under Irresistible Force. Morris has influenced the careers of Aphex Twin & Squarepusher, With John Peel calling him ‘His Natural Successor’, now there’s a recommendation to be proud of!!. Morris has jut completed a remix for Anne Garner’s project “ Remaking the Pearl” ( Psychonavigation Records) due in November 2005.

Anne Garner, Sheffield singer/songwriter is due to release a remix album of her songs 'remaking the pearl' on Irish label Psychonavigation Records. Remade and remodelled by DJ’s, musicians and remixers such as Mixmaster Morris, Richard H Kirk, Lackluster, The Pylon King, Dean Honer ..... Some are completely unrecognisable from their original incarnations, while others are reinterpreted in a more subtle way.

Anne has been playing the piano since the age of 7 and is also classically trained on the flute. She got involved in the electronic music scene in her teens and joined the Sheffield band 'The Screaming Trees' (aka Count Zero, Success) in the late 80s, with releases such as 'Fracture in Time' (produced by former ABC's Stephen Singleton) and 'Count Zero' releases produced by Richard H Kirk .

After singing at her mum's funeral in 2001, she decided to go solo, and developed her distinctive singing / song writing style. She is currently recording and co-producing her album 'Making the Pearl' with The Pylon King. Probably the first time a remix album has been released before the original.

Seán Quinn is an electronic musician / composer / producer who grew up listening to the music of Kraftwerk, John Foxx, Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno, La Düsseldorf. He is the only Irish person ever to be signed to the legendary ambient label E.G. Records whose roster included Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, Harold Budd etc.

As a member of Dubh Chapter in the early nineties he worked with producer & System 7 mainman Steve Hillage. He has also worked with the Penguin Cafe Orchestra & Language recording artist TAO from Japan. As one half of electronic duo The Vivid he released 2001¹s unanimously critically acclaimed ³Stripper² album which was used on a Channel 4 documentary on Creamfields and was released in Germany via New Music GmbH where it¹s predecessor ³Shiny² sold 10.000 copies.

³Skylines² is his first solo release and began life when EG Records asked him to record an ambient album for their Editions EG imprint. Unfortunately the label is now dormant but he went ahead and finished the record which is due for release in January on Psychonavigation. The tracks ³Skyline² & ³Loop Thereof² are being used as the soundtrack to the documentary ³Identity² on the life of Nelson Mandela by South African filmmaker Johan Allers which is currently being edited and is due to be screened worldwide in the Autumn.

This year he has been performing "Skylines" live at various venues, sometimes improvising pieces from scratch. Some of these live improvs have formed the basis for his second album & he has taken the unusual step of not recording any new tracks until they have been "worked in" live. Has just completed an EP "Missing Clock Edges" for Irish net label Electrotoxic which has just been made available to download .
