I just did a load of laps with motion control and thought i was getting teh hang of it. I then switched to d-pad and smashed my lap record first time.

Just found out why everyone is so good online in wipeout - you can leave the assists on. And even if you host a game you don't have the option to turn it off. What a load of horse shit!

That's kinda ruined the online for me now.

They need to patch it alright. Theres a good few bugs to fix. It froze up on me earlier and i was having trouble connecting. That said when you do get a game going its great crack and runs fine.

Hey neil were those bastards who beat us earlier using assists?

I've also noticed that when i'm listening to the standard soundtrack the audio stutters every now and then. Mp3s on the hd play fine though.

Heh just did a speed lap event there on level 4 of the campaign mode. Got EXACTLY the same laptime as lefty, 33.46 I think it was.

Naturally I had to beat it before I went to bed.
