Post-Chrimbo Wicklow? (1 Viewer)

Looking to rent a cottage somewhere in Wicklow county after Christmas.
I've looked up a few holiday rental websites and some are nice; but usually they're on someone's land, farm, or enclosed in a courtyard (WTF??) or some such.
Herself wants something remote, either near mountains or coast.
Any suggestions?

Well, we don't want a big long drive you see. Ideally we want somewhere not too far from Dublin, along the East coast, north or south.

Actually, some of the other lighthouses are not that expensive. We're already looking at holiday cottages for around €300/400 for 3 nights. I'll be looking into this!

You're welcome. Some of those prices are more than reasonable as you mentioned, especially if split between four or five people.

That lighthouse at Wicklow Head is a stone's throw from this beach at Bride's Head which is really beautiful. A great place for watching the local seals too!
