I was trying to explain to a bunch of German lads that I'm living with about these bands today. Couldn't grasp it all, can't expect much when the bands they loved were Die Toten Hosen & Beatsteaks. So to compensate I've these queued up to listen to:

Neu! - Neu!
Harmonia - Zuckerseit
Can - Tago Mago/Ege Bamyasi
Kraftwerk - Trans-Europe Express

Hatred Surge - "Yeah, I've heard that Swans record too" 7" (Bit of a stinker in fairness. Stick to the Despise You worship chief)
Faithealer - "Bound & Chained" lp (this makes up for it. Best new hardcore band I've heard this year, sounds like something I would have taped off Glynn in about 1997)
Light Yourself On Fire myspazz tracks (ex Reversal of Man singer in Cursed soundalike shocker. The jury's still out on this one)
Deadguy - "Screaming with the Deadguy Quartet" (Fuck.Yes.)
Socrates Drank the Conium - "On The Wings" lp (Like transporting the guitarists from At The Gates back to 1972 and getting them to play with Captain Beyond. genius)
