Not only are busted the best band in the whole wide world.....
but, now apparently ALL of Dublins pirate stations were busted (get it?) yesterday and all their equipment conficscated.

Is it the same with XFM??

Anybody know the low down?

Well what happened was the boyos at ComReg, the ESB and the Gardai all banded together and decided to swoop. They're clearly underchallenged. They managed to clear the airwavs of pirates enritely. It's the first time in 20 years there;s been a situation whereby no pirates at all are broadcasting. Phantom got in ahead of the posse and voluntarily stopped broadcasting as a precaution. It's just a case of wait-and-see.

I hope the authorities are happy. Sure, jesus, if you turned on the radio today or yesterday you could just hear the improvement!???? What a good, wholesome and worthwhile exercise. Clearly pirates were what's wrong with Irish radio..I mean for fucks sake give us a break. Things are just a thousand times worse now and they just can't see that. Pathetic.
