pinback are playing the plzen festival on the 25th.

awesome! the fluff festival in pilsen, was there two years ago, totally dominated by EDGE METAL (was originally called the Y2K Straight Edge festival)! mad cunts with swnky EDGE tatoos all over the shop, flexing their muscles and oiling up their bodies in the morning in anticipation of the big MOSH of the day. Then they stay up late playing hilariously sober pranks on each other and the lost drunken bums who have the misfortune of wandering into the campsite !

they probably will, actually. they can be pretty full on when they want.
they're pretty excited about some of the bands playing at fluff too.

pinback are playing the plzen festival on the 25th. we weren't able to get on the festival so are frantically trying to arrange our own gig somewhere else in the czech republic. any tips?

Couple of good clubs in Prague. The Roxy is probably your best bet-it's dead central too and er, punk rock friendly...and Prague is only an hour from Pilzen.
Ostrava is further east but the next big city in Cz. Rep with a vibrant metal (& skinhead, unfortunately) scene.
