The nominees for the PFA Player of the year awards are out.

Ronaldo, Fabregas, Torres, Stevie G, David James, Adebayor.

Young Player:

Ronaldo, Fabregas, Torres, Agbonlahor, Ashley Young, Micah Richards.

Ronaldo's a shoo-in obviously. Torres could bag the Young Player award. Good to see David James nominated.

Does Stevie G get a nod every year regardless of form?

Outrageous that Ronaldo is still eligible for the Young Player too.
Hmmm, I think Robbie Keane can count himself unlucky to be ignored for a nomination.

No doubt Ronaldo will will it but in my view Torres has done just as well when you consider how shit Liverpool are in camparison to Man U and the fact that its his first full season in the Premiership.
Stevie G is on the list because hes English

I reckon Torres might get the young player award as recognition of his achievements in his first year. No one is gonna topple Ronaldo, but Torres is going to eclipse Van Nistelrooy as having the most successful first season in the premiership for a foreigner.

I think anyone under 23 qualifies, I think they should make it u21, makes more sense
