I didn't use it this time but I have a very wierd crepe pan I inherited from my aunt who had a mania for strange kitchen equipment. It's a convex cast iron job - you heat the pan, dip the convex side into the mixture and then put the pan domed side up on the flame. You get the thinnest imaginable crepes off of it.

i fucked a few up on the whole flipping action and made them into halfsize too-thick crap-cakes instead.

poor Johnnie. I dreamed up a new fave yesterday-melted baci chocolates (the fancy italian ferrero rocher type thingys) and lime juice, drooltastic.

Had a pancake tuesday session a couple of years back where someone stole our fancy bottle of top of the range canadian maple syrup from the gaff, I was homicidal with rage for weeks afterwards.
