Galway native Laura Sheeran has been developing her unique musical style since the age of 10 when she first started writing songs. Sheeran moved to Dublin in 2007 where she began recording and gigging extensively. She released her first solo offering in the form of a double album ‘Lust Of Pig & The Fresh Blood’ in 2011.
Laura fuses classical influences with heavy electronic production and filters it all through a dark witching gauze that makes her sound like ”an episode of Twin Peaks in female form” – Aoife Barry 2XM
A ‘creative dynamo’, Laura has an extensive back catalogue of work to date including a number of soundtracks that she has done for various theater shows and short films, her solo (and collaborative) CD/Vinyl/digital releases and a number of collaborative music projects including Alien-Pop band Nanu Nanu, and the ever enigmatic collective Fovea Hex.
