I want need a new TV but not sure what to go for.

I have a 6 year old 32" Sony Bravia. I got it for €350 in 2007 and it looked shite back then.

I'm looking for LED 42/46", I don't want a smart tv or 3D, I need Saorview.

Where's the best place to get them? Are LG or Toshiba any use?

I got a Samsung one lately.
The TV it replaced was a big screen CRT monster which was bought for Italia 90.
(Imagine that - an electronic device working well for nearly 25 years - I'm still a little in awe of that)
Anyway
The new one connects to the interwebs and all sorts of shit
It's a revelation. Browsing youtube and netflix on a TV and streaming directly from the NAS.

what are you using it for primarily? games? 300 quid screen will do you, hook it up to a stereo. GRAND
