Sounds amazing as usual. Impossible Soul has a load of autotune on it. Sounds great.

on my second listen now. not really liking it very much. maybe its a grower.

Too distant and confusing to like straight off for me. Don't really like much Sufjan has done since Illinois (various tracks that've come out here and there recently)

Still sounds like he's afflicted by the confusion suggested in this interview here: http://drownedinsound.com/news/4138146 Throwing so much shit at the wall on most tracks and still just sound like an over-ornamented Sufjan track. Couple of real gems towards the end of the album though, All For Myself and I Want To Be Well, liked them a lot.

That last track is jusy a bit silly though.

I love it. Its fairly consistent with the 'All Delighted People' EP. Fairly melodic and catchy tunes that tend to veer off into something a little more chaotic. Probably not as instantly 'gettable' as the Illinois or Seven Swans stuff but I reckon its gonna get better by the listen. It'll be well worth the 2 euro amazon will be selling it for.
