New Neurosis album download! (2 Viewers)

i was downloading this file from the linked mirror site, and the download went wonky and stopped halfway through. i started again and it downloaded fine.
my cable modem has not worked since this download! anyone have the same problem or is it just a conincidence ???

Get 7zip that'll open it for ya. A tar is kinda like a zip file. Wanna know more?

PS I've no link to 7zip I just like using it and it's free.

BTW, might be just a coincidence, but when download completed, my PC tried to open MS outlook repeatedly!!!

i think there's defo something dodgy about this download alright.my modem is still fucked, and in the config pages on the modem it says network access denied.
fuckin neurosis probably infected the file themselves on purpose to stop people downloading it!!!!!

came home this evening from work and the broadband service is back up and running. must have been the upgrade work that was the problem so.

the former i'd say but defo influences from the auld sleep somewhere in the mix. from a drummers perspective D) this SUMA album would have more in common with sleep volume one.

i think the drumming on the album is supposed to give the more abstract riffage a few corners. it defo does that. solid and pounding. some clever beats and fills too but never over done, so it stays on that bludgeoning track. sunn o))) was mentioned in the blog description but i think that's a bit of a stretch. or maybe i'd be more into sunn o))) if they had a drummer. fuck knows.

i like that it builds from slow doomy bits into good stoner chuggs too. that may be the eyehategod/sleep wanna be bollocks you don't like though.

quite enjoyed the samples too. haven't heard too many of them in a while and they are well placed and audible.

i can burn it for ya if ya loike.

Don't think I will be I'm afraid , but no rush..I'll need a bit of time to get that stuff burnt for you anyway.

getting a computer of my own next month.life will be so much easier.especially in terms of burning stuff for people.
