The Fiery Furnaces - 'I'm Going Away' - growing on me very quickly after an initially lukewarm response.
If your favourite Furnaces album is Gallowsbirds' Bark you'll probably like this one a lot.. More or less straight-up bluesy old-timey rock with strong tunes, plenty of barroom piano and great scuzzy guitar solos from Matt. Synths and prog-opera zaniness pretty much absent, but still tinged with a bit of typical Furnaces oddness.
