The only reason for substituting the word 'not' with 'no' is because you desperately want to demonstrate what a stupid moron you are.
 
If you guys watched less television, then it wouldn't bother you what people say because you wouldn't know that it's an Americanisation, you'd just think it was interesting and refreshing new vocab that you're not familiar with. See?

I think 'my bad' is cool. It's like 'forgiveness please' for a new, western generation.
