I was grudgingly impressed with how unwrong they managed to get the descriptions of black/death/doom...whilst leaving out the crucial sonic aspects which means the squares will still get confused

I love it when they have these Metal is back stories. Like every few years "Punk is back". When some band like the Arctic Monkeys start getting big, and one of them wears a clash T-shirt.

One of the toughest conundrums is working out the diffence between black metal, death metal and doom metal.

now that's just not true. the difference between noise/grind and grind/noise can be tricky though.
