Falsearms and Mulletbelt are on ceasefire, with John D acting as a go between to bulid trust in the Christchurch/Thomas st. community.

Fakie is on as usual i presume and mulletbelts offical policy is to recognise their legitimacy.

Oh the mirth you found in my pronunciation of those innocuous words.

Actually, i asked for 2 currie pies in the shop yesterday and they'd run out. How i cursed them.

I shall be playing some Dark Angel to smote their retail establishment tonight.

BASS JUNKIE BIOG

"It's always been around, it's always been my personal favourite -
funky machine music, there's nothing like it." (Phil Klein, 2000)

Bass Junkie aka Phil Klein has been a captive of the 808 sound since
the early '80s. He first heard electro on tape: Electro 1 -
Streetsounds, in 1982 or 83. It took another couple of years before
he made the move to vinyl, buying a World Class Wreckin' Cru album.
He went on to amass a huge collection of whatever electro he could
get his hands on. When electro faded away in the late 80s, he still
had Dynamix II and the X-Men to keep him going.

He started DJing at in 1986, but found that there was no real
interest in the kind of music he was devoted to. He also began to
write and produce his own music so that he could influence the
development of electro music. He bought a studio in 1990, and was
signed by Dynamix II in 1993. His first release on CD was on their
Electrobass compilation.

Over the years he has been involved in many projects - from starting
his own Battle Trax label to release his back catalogue of music, to
collaboration with Scott Weiser of Dynamix II as IBM (Industrial Bass
Machine). Other pseudonyms include Cybernet Systems, Kronos Device,
and Final Dream.

By 1998, a resurgence of interest in electro convinced him to return
to DJing, and shortly afterwards he began to perform live for the
first time. Since then he has continued to DJ and play live around
the UK and Europe.

Look out for his two most recent releases: a split 12" with Silicon
Scally on Firewire, and the Return to Bass ep on Ed DMX's Breakin'
label.

Ha ha....herv what were you thinking!

Mulletbelt is an all inclusive kinda institution (see previous post on ceasfire status) and we take no offence as Neuromantek rocks too.

Cheers to all who popped along last night. Fine rockin' buzz for our first night.

Lots more Slayer and Dead Kennedys to come.

Wow, Thursdays are the new black.

Fakearms, of Molloys on a THursday night, which is closer to town than the THomas House, would never, *ever* do something as rotten as posting details on someone elses thread.

Mulletbelt looked like fun, sorry I couldn't stick around, but Fakearms would die without me there.... or something.

Once again, Thursday got the better of me and I ended up in Isoceles Triangle (Isoldes Tower).
That's it, THursdays are fired. Always gettin me into trouble.
