i love the ending of monsters ball, when billy bob and halle berry are sitting on the steps of the house looking into the garden, and the camera pans out. it's a beautiful moment which instills a sense of hope and optimism for the two main characters and hints at the fact that things are going to work out for them...thankfully the film ended on a (relative) positive note.

I preferred the ending in the book but it was nice! Loads of great endings Donnie Darko, Heat, seven(yes fincher was good once!), Dead mans shoes. I hate happy speilberg like endings
