Does it make sense? I'm (slowly) getting through it, I don't know a whole lot about the alt-right so can't tell if the author is accurate or not.

It's definitely a polemic more than anything else. There'd be bits here and there i'd disagree with, and lots I just have to take her word for, but generally it makes sense.

The long detailed explanation of various theories of fascism at the start seems a bit overkill vs. the payoff.

I did raise my eyebrows at parts of that, there seemed to be a lot of reaching in order to make the argument.

I assume they were being overly comprehensive in an attempt to stop any and all arguments that that they didn't understand fascism or they are wrong about it.
