Minor Pleasures (13 Viewers)

Just realised that there's a Part Chimp album I didn't know existed and it's fucking heft.

How did I miss this.

Also this seems to be an E.P about where I live at the moment

I wonder are the lyrics about watching 4 champions league matches at once n the Marquis of Granby.

Very minor pleasure.

I got an email to say I was being "considered for an interview" by a company which does exactly what i did in my old job except it pays twice as much.

I'll believe it when I see it kind of moment.

It's the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival time again. Major pleasure. 10 Ticket deal booked, yay!

Major complaint. I was planning on taking holidays for this, but someone in work booked this week off before me, ffs, meaning I can't see all that I would want. There's a Ginger Baker documentary that looks like it could be ace.

I'd start a thread on this, but I can't figure out how to do it.
Anyone going to the film festival?
There's usually a couple of films I just have to go to, anything Herzog, last year Whit Stillman's Damsels In Distress, etc, but nothing really stands out this year. Any recommendations?
Discuss. And start a thread, if anyone can be bothered.

To update this they sent me an online exam. Which was weird. I should know by the end of the week.

My mother started writing for her retirement community newsletter. Mostly she's recapping events for those who didn't attend and writing a few poems about living there. She just sent me a card filled with clippings of her writing. It's really sweet, especially for a woman who has never done anything like this in her life. I had to laugh at one though due to a poorly constructed sentence, which made it seem as if they roasted marshmallows and two smiling children.
