Often when someone interesting is interviewed these days the interview is not transcribed and a youtube clip is posted instead. This kind of laziness is very unsatisfactory. Also, instead of simply explaining in writing a useful or interesting technique for doing something a youtube clip is posted.

the ads, yes. the trailers not so much.

I asked the heads in the Screen what the hell was going on with the volume. They said adds/ trailors are always made louder. They even have a notice up apologising for it. Half the cinema had their fingers in their ears before the main feature came on.

I don't know why they don't just turn it down a bit for the ads and trailers and then turn it up again for the main feature.

Same reason they blare the ads on the telly dude - someone pays for it to be louder

They might forget to turn it up again, or start fooling around for the craic - could start a riot or just freak everyone out
