I have a Creative Live soundcard that's 4 years old or so. The midi sockets on it are about half the size of normal midi jacks but are five pin as you'd expect. The one shop I've been to had never heard of mini midi jacks.

Anyone know where a body can get special leads or adaptors????

Well computer keyboards used to use DIN connectors but they use mini-DIN now (when they're not usb). Never seen mini-DIN on any midi equipment.
Any idea if it's the same type of connection?

Yeah, it's a din plug just like the keyboard plug; an idea that just didn't take off I imagine. Thanks for the link Kraster.

Incidentally i order a mini skip last week (2.5 cubic yards) but got a midi one instead (4 cubic yards), which costs an extra €60. As it wasn't my mistake, they are not charging me the extra.

Hope this helps.

You can only get skips in the regular size or in a multi-pack Ro. I think you've been hoodwinked. Sorry.

If those mini midi conversion cables are just keyboard-like din connectors on the end of a normal midi cable you could make your own pretty cheap and easily.
