Aaarrrrrghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That Manics diary thing they used to have in Melody maker was quite funny.

oh the intense intensity of it all. I'M DOING THIS FOR YOU RICHEY!!!! *retch* *choke* *retch* *fart*
Only good thing in the melody maker.

one could jam ones sac in a blender for free
i don't get it
it must be a celtic thing (cf. marillion)

I thought they were gonna break up last year or something?
I`m glad they did`nt though.

We NEED bands like them around(well in the early 90`s we did).

Maybe the Thumped Christmas party could be built around this gig?!

I`m still looking to buy early Manics records..anyone? anyone?

which ones are you looking for? They're all gettable as long as you're willing to pay.

Im not willing to be stupid/ebay prices for them - but would be reasonable.
I`m looking for:
Gold Against the Soul lp
The Holy Bible lp - i`d pay up to 25 Euro each for these in good condition.

Stay Beautiful 12" - 6-9 Euro
Theme From Mash 7" - 6 Euro

Early 7"/12" really.

i`d also have alot of records to trade.

There's pretty much no chance of getting the holy bible on vinyl for less than about 40 or 50 euro (except for that time a copy sold for 5 euro and i forgot to buy it, still not gotten over that.) Theme from mash is relatively easy to get at reasonable prices.
You won't get stay beautiful for less than 15 or 20.
you might get gold against the soul for arond 25 i guess.

Still around after 10 years+

The Holy Bible for fucks sake...admittedly mostly influenced by Richey

Filled the Millenium stadium. Also played before the Wales v Italy match...which the boyos won.

I wont go on but I think respect where its due.

Damn Straight!

I was mental into them back in school - early ninties.
Still love the old stuff - liked Everything Must Go also...but they kind of went a bit weak after that i thought.
I enjoyed the live in Cuba gig alot - great stuff.

A question of taste really, personally I find them to be BLAND BLAND BLAND.

And €38 for a band that are supposedly working class heroes? sellouts.

I'll give you the Holy Bible, but since Richie dissappeared theyve been living off sympathy. Bah!

God a sensible answer...on thumped..im shocked.

I agree also, to an extent. They have got all married and settled down n shit. James doesnt seem to have the fire as much and im finding Nickys lyrics pretty despairing in truth.

Had some great Manic moments in the last 10 years and I guess this could be one of the last. If they dont rock the arenas in the UK theyll get ripped apart. Hopefully they dont resort to pleasing the Mondeo set. New song isnt up to much. We'll see.

Hopefully Razorlight do support here. Saw them on Parkie, thought they sounded pretty good.
