Indeed, picked up a ticket last night. Early reviews for the new record are really positive. Shocked there's no leak yet.

when's it out? they're playing primavera but don't think i'll be making it this year so will have to get Dublin tickets.

Hi.

In case you've been ignoring my sig ... I'll be playing at the Whelan's gig. It'll be a special set to commemorate the anniversary of Luxembourg's independence which happened on that date in 1867.

ah, I was gonna go nacker drinkin to commemorate that. Might just go watch you play instead now.

any tunes to pop up on yer myspace there?

ARGH FUCK!

just found out ive a presentation in college on the monday morning so now ive to change my flights and fly back here on sunday night and wil be missing their Irish performance.
GAY.

thank goodness for Primavera though!

The new album is absolutely brilliant - the last track "Whalebones" is my favourite tune at the moment. Really looking forward to this gig.

think its a bit shit tbh.
maybe its a grower. either way its nowhere near like their previous efforts.

I've only got into them recently but i prefer the new album to Six Demon Bag or The Man in A Blue Turban With a Face.

saw these guys in ameoba in san fran, pretty good live but their studied wackiness is a bit off-putting.
Yeah their yoke up on pitchfork tv is a bit odd, the lengths they go to get original sample is just silly, they simulate drowning and make toys fall over in a really precise way. Also the lets cycle beside the car, 'oh now I have a whacky urge to stand on that car whilst it moves, look at me go' , was fairly ghey. Saying that I really want to see them cos I'm similarly gay

my friend saw them in seattle a few years ago and he said it was probably the best gig he's ever seen.

mind you, he's only ever been at about 3 gigs in his life.

Actually just checked out Man Man's myspace there, Not bad at all! Some funky piano riffs.

I am looking forward to both acts now. For some reason I find Sunday night gigs are always cool anyway.
