Oh my God!

I didn't think it could get better than The Two Towers. I was so fucking wrong.

I was in tears for the last hour(s).

Go see it.

Oh, and A Mighty Wind opens next week! YAY!!!!!

Thomas

ps. Has anyone seen my red purse?

It's no Spinal Tap... probably not as good as Waiting For Guffman either, but it's very very good.

"The Bohners"

that's all i'm saying.

I read the books back in school. Found them overrated .
not seen any of the films yet.
I didn't enjoy the books at all. I found them very ponderous and drawn out but I think Peter Jackson drew out what was best about them and gave the story a lot more structure than the books had bypruning out a lot of the unnecessary stuff.

Great movies. Go on, treat yourself.

I seen all 3 films...

Complete tripe, thought the Matrix trilogy was dissapointing but LOTR takes the piss. And guess what! Frodo saves the day! Didn't see that coming over the 3 films honestly....

Shit

Not sure how you can dismiss all 3 films as shit. Surely you can see that they are fantastically well-made films and they......
Oh fuck it. I can't be arsed.

Thanks. Seriously, don't bother. Let's just say "I didn't appreciate LOTR"...
No need to have an arty-farty airy-fairy "Thumped-like" apolitical opinion on everything, I thought they were garbage

: )

so why'd you go to all three then?

did you not figure out that you didn't like them after like half an hour of the first one?

but instead you sat through nine hours of it?

sounds to me like you're quite the sucker

ho ho yes, quite the sucker indeed

It was more a case of "I've started so I'll finish" and I reserved judgement til the end, trying to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Plus there's sweet F.A. out and it killed a few hours (quite literally)

ah I see, well I respect your opinion more now

Just think what you could have done with those 9 hours. You could have planted a tree, maybe met a sweet girl, bought some cool records, had a few great conversations. It's like some one handed you a coin that you can only spend once, and you bought garbage. And then you gave out about it on the Internet.
